Spring 2023 Eagle Mountain Baseball!

Welcome to the
Spring 2023 Recreation Baseball season!

Registration will open January 3rd and run through February 18th, 2023.
Late registration will continue through February 25th with a $25 late fee.
Tryouts for 8+ will be held March 4th (time TBD) at D-Bat Herriman.
Season starts the week of April 10th, 2023.

Here are the age group and divisions that will be offered this year:

PeeWee QuickBall (ages 3)
- 8 games - season starts the week of April 10th.
- teams will be formed by neighborhood/geographic location
-games will be on Monday evening, Friday evening and/or Saturday afternoons at Cory Wride
- up to 2 games per week

QuickBall (ages 4/5)

- 8 games - season starts the week of April 10th.
- teams will be formed by neighborhood/geographic location
-games will be on Monday evening, Friday evening and/or Saturday afternoons at Cory Wride
- up to 2 games per week

Rookie -machine pitch (ages 6 and 7)

- 8 games - season starts the week of April 10th.
- teams will be formed by neighborhood/geographic location
-games will be on Monday evening, Friday evening and/or Saturday afternoons at Cory Wride
- up to 2 games per week

8U -kid pitch (age 8)

- 8 games

-games will be on Thursdays/Saturdays and Mondays as needed at Cory Wride
- season starts the week of April 10th
- teams will be drafted at tryouts March 4th at D-Bat Herriman

- top 2 teams will play in the WBL tournament in June

Minors (ages 9/10)

- 8 games

- games will be on Thursdays/Saturdays and Mondays as needed at Cory Wride
- season starts the week of April 10th
- teams will be drafted at Tryouts March 4th at D-Bat Herriman

- top 2 teams will play in the WBL tournament in June

Majors (ages 11/12)

- 8 games

- games will be on Thursdays/Saturdays and Mondays as needed at Cory Wride
- season starts the week of April 10th
- teams will be drafted at Tryouts March 4th at D-Bat Herriman

- top 2 teams will play in the WBL tournament in June

13U (age 13)

- 12 games

- home/away games against 5 other cities
(away games will be played in Riverton, Herriman, Bingham, WJ Copper Hills and SEV)

- Home games will be played Thursdays/Saturdays. Away games can be played any day of the week.

2023 Rookie Machine Pitch (6/7 year olds)

Rookie Machine Pitch-

This age group is for kids who are 6 or 7 years old on April 30th, 2023.

Kids will be placed on a team based on their neighborhood/geographic location.

Includes jersey, hat and pants. 8 game season.

Games will be played on Fridays evenings or Saturday afternoons at Cory Wride.

Rookie Machine Pitch games start the week of April 10th, 2023.

Rookie Machine Pitch league will be using a pitching machine. Making use of a pitching machine allows for more hittable balls at the plate and more action in the field. Fear of actually being hit by a pitched ball is diminished. It makes the game safer and improves the playing confidence and ability of all participants.

This league is for recreation baseball. The point of emphasis for the rec program will always be to help the kids to learn, develop, and hopefully find a love for the game of baseball!

2023 QuickBall (4/5)

QuickBall

This age group is for kids who are 4 or 5 years old on April 30th, 2023.

Ages 5/6 will be playing Quickball this year! (This is in place of TBall)

We are super excited and know that the kids will have an awesome time playing!

1. Kids learn the Fundamentals of baseball and softball

2. Non-Stop play time, no downtime.

3. Practices and Games focus on building skills and having fun.

4. Players of all skill levels learn and grow. Each child contributes, is physically active and learns about the value of teamwork.

5. All players gain valuable knowledge that will help them as they experience fun on the diamond!

6. Coaches get detailed practice and game instructions.

8U Kid Pitch-

This age group is for players who are 8 years old on April 30th, 2023.

Players will need to come to tryouts March 4th (time TBD) at D-Bat Herriman to be drafted onto a team.

Includes jersey, hat and pants. 8 game season.

Season starts the week of April 10th, 2023.

Games will be played at Cory Wride park on Mondays, Thursdays and/or Saturdays at the Cory Wride baseball complex.

We are super excited for the opportunity to have our 8 year olds pitching live balls. This will greatly improve their skill level and get them further prepared for the Minor League!

This league is for recreation baseball. The point of emphasis for the rec program will always be to help the kids to learn, develop, and hopefully find a love for the game of baseball!

8U Kid Pitch (8 years old)

This league is for recreation baseball. The point of emphasis for the rec program will always be to help the kids to learn, develop, and hopefully find a love for the game of baseball!

Major League is for kids who are 11 or 12 on April 30th, 2023.

For ages 9+ we use a traditional draft process with league championship awards given at the end.

10 game season with a post-season tournament.

Season starts the week of April 10th, 2023.

Games will be played on Mondays, Thursdays and/or Saturdays at Cory Wride Memorial Park baseball complex.

Tryouts will be held March 4th (time TBD) at D-Bat Herriman.

*** The top two teams from each league will also play in a regional championship tournament June 9-11 against teams from Herriman, Riverton, Copper Hills and Bingham.

*** There will be all-star teams chosen during the season for kids to play in the All-Stars tournament at the end of June.

2023 13U baseball (13)
